Physician-Scientist
The Department of Neurology at the University of Utah is undergoing a major expansion of its molecular and cellular neuroscience efforts.
We are recruiting several physician-scientists in the areas of Alzheimer disease and related disorders, ALS, vascular neurology, TBI, and systems neuroscience. We are looking for candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with a proven track-record of obtaining extramural funding. When appropriate, research positions can be combined with clinical leadership positions, for example with Directorship of our ALS Center of Excellence.
Minimum Qualifications are a MD, DO or MD/PhD degree and ABPN board eligibility.
Candidates will be able to partner with existing initiatives in Molecular Medicine, 3i (Immunity, infection, inflammation), genomics, translational neuroscience and the Integrating Medicine & Policy to Achieve Healthcare Transformation (IMPACT) program.
