Speech-Language Pathologist needed in Urbana, OH! Urbana is known for its engaging community activities and friendly atmosphere.Position DetailsOutpatient Pediatric Speech Language PathologistThis position will accept local candidates.No Dysrhythmia Exam RequiredMust have 1 year of experienceMainly 4-10 hour days; with Wednesday be off day.OH license in speech language pathologistC's from ASHAITO Prescreen/Manager follow up and offerUnit Specific Details Peds 90%, Adults 5%, Inpatient 5%Very easy bed side swallow testing for inpatient.Caseload is typically 12-14 patients dailyExperience with a pediatric caseload including treating disorders in articulation, language delays, childhood apraxia of speech and AAC would be useful in this position.We also need someone with experience in Adult swallowing/language/cognition.(However the majority of this position is outpatient pediatrics there will also be some care required at a small adult inpatient hospital and 2-3 adult outpatientsCommon patient conditions: Autism, cerebral palsy, Down's Syndrome, early intervention, developmental delay as well as adults with CVA, dementia, acute encephalopathy and pneumonia
