We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to support immunoassay and automated chemistry testing in our CLIA-certified laboratory focused on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) diagnostics. This role emphasizes high-complexity chemistry and immunoassay testing using automated analyzers for blood-based biomarkers.
Requirements
Immunoassay & Chemistry Testing
Perform high-complexity immunoassay and chemistry testing using automated analyzers
Develop LDTs on innovative chemistry instrumentation used for the most up to date Alzheimer’s Disease testing
Prepare and process clinical specimens following SOPs across all testing phases.
Instrumentation & Maintenance
Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated chemistry and immunoassay analyzers.
Identify and resolve analyzer, reagent, or assay performance issues to minimize downtime.
Quality Control & Assurance
Conduct daily QC, calibration, and verification procedures.
Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and internal laboratory standards.
Support audit readiness and participate in inspections.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Review and validate test results; accurately enter and maintain records in the LIS.
Ensure precise and timely data entry and result reporting.
Inventory & Reagent Management
Monitor inventory of reagents and consumables for chemistry and immunoassay testing.
Validate new reagent lots prior to clinical use.
Continuous Improvement
Stay informed on advancements in clinical chemistry and immunoassay technologies.
Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
