BC/BE Neurologist who has completed Cognitive Neurology fellowship training
The Cognitive Neurology/Dementia Division of the Department of Neurology at Albany Med Health System is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist who has completed Cognitive Neurology fellowship training. Our established and growing comprehensive center for research and patient care, which has been designated as one of the 10 Centers of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease in New York State. The center was established with a vision to transform dementia care in upstate New York and accelerate the race towards prevention and treatment. Our center has institutional and community support, as well as additional philanthropic funding. Our goal is to identify an individual who is passionate about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, with a vision to expand the educational and clinical research efforts, while providing exemplary clinical care.

A diverse patient population in an academic hospital setting, serving 23 counties and more than 2.5 million people.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of neurologists, neuropsychologists, geriatric psychiatrists, social workers, and allied support staff.

- Multiple ongoing research studies. Research and other scholarly work are encouraged and supported, commensurate with the skills and accomplishments of the clinician scientist.

Recruitment Package:
Albany Med offers a highly competitive salary and compensation package including:
- Rich benefits package including malpractice coverage and retirement plan.
- Salary commensurate with the level of academic appointment that does not include incentive bonus that is paid quarterly, which adds to the total compensation.
- Relocation assistance
Compensation:
The salary range $230-260K represents base salaries for an Assistant or Associate Professor’s appointment. They do not include the incentive bonus that is paid quarterly, which adds significantly to the total compensation.
