Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess the emotional and psychological needs of patients facing end-of-life challenges.
- Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, incorporating both therapeutic interventions and family support strategies.
- Deliver weekly psychotherapy sessions to an established caseload, creating a safe space for patients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed, utilizing de-escalation techniques and empathetic communication to manage urgent situations sensitively.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, HIPAA regulations, and CMS guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care and confidentiality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Active and in good standing Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
- Strong foundational knowledge of mental health treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and empathetically, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in maintaining clinical documentation according to regulatory standards.
- Competence in learning and using electronic documentation and healthcare software systems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in medical settings or long-term care facilities, particularly in hospice or palliative care.
- Knowledge of geriatric psychology, including common issues faced by elderly patients such as dementia and adjustment disorders.
- Demonstrable ability to navigate and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 per year, reflecting your experience and dedication.
