Work Environment
This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while engaging with clients in an outpatient setting. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a balanced work-life structure while ensuring consistent client support. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly residents to identify their specific emotional and psychological needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, helping clients navigate the complexities of aging, including coping with loss and managing life transitions.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and revise comprehensive care plans that cater to the evolving needs of geriatric clients.
- Educate family members and healthcare staff on effective strategies to optimize the emotional well-being of elderly individuals.
- Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, addressing the challenges associated with end-of-life issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus
Our services primarily focus on the geriatric population, comprising seniors with a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, dementia, and bereavement. Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Massachusetts is required.
- At least three years of recent experience in geriatric counseling or mental health support.
- Additional certifications or specialized training in geriatric mental health and related issues are highly valued.
- Proven expertise in delivering effective counseling services to older adults facing various psychological challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 105,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
