This full-time position allows for remote work, delivering essential mental health care via telehealth services. As a vital member of our Geriatric Care Clinic, you will provide critical support to elderly patients navigating the complexities of aging.

Work Environment
Our work setting embraces the flexibility of remote telehealth appointments, allowing mental health professionals to offer support to clients in a comfortable and familiar environment. You will engage with clients primarily through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for both patients and therapists. The standard work week runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, aligning with the traditional schedule of most senior care facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, tailored to identifying their unique psychological needs.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing emotional and psychological challenges faced by seniors.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to design and implement holistic care plans suited to each resident's needs.
- Provide psychoeducation to family members and staff, sharing effective strategies to enhance emotional resilience and quality of life among older adults.
- Lead specialized grief and loss counseling sessions for clients and their families coping with end-of-life issues and bereavement.
- Develop and execute cognitive stimulation programs and therapeutic interventions to bolster mental acuity and engagement in life.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This role primarily focuses on serving geriatric patients who are managing various mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other age-related challenges. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that treatment modalities are culturally sensitive and personalized to meet individual needs. Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
- A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation in Massachusetts.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health support and counseling, specifically related to geriatric populations.
- Demonstrated expertise in administering evidence-based approaches to promote mental health among elderly clients.

Compensation and Benefits
